Connecting North Carolinians Through Sustainable Technology
We are a nonprofit based in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We turn electronic waste into digital opportunity. Join us in bridging the digital divide while protecting our environment.

Help us by donating your old tech.
Our Year 1 Goal
By the end of 2026 we aim to refurbish & donate 75 devices.
The Why and What

62 Million Tonnes
That is how much e-waste the world generates in a single year. It’s a record-breaking number, and it is rising five times faster than we can recycle it. When electronics end up in landfills, they leak toxic chemicals into our soil and water. We stop that cycle by intercepting viable tech before it goes to waste.

92% of Jobs
In today’s economy, 92% of all jobs require digital skills. It isn’t just about tech support or coding; it’s about warehouse logistics, healthcare, retail, and administration. Without a working computer and the skills to use it, capable workers are locked out of the modern workforce.

1 in 8 Neighbors
Right here in North Carolina, 12.5% of our residents live in poverty. For a family struggling to put food on the table, a laptop is a luxury they cannot afford. Yet, without it, their children fall behind in school, and parents struggle to find better employment. We put technology directly into the hands of the people who need it most to break the cycle of poverty.
Terrabyte Green exists to bridge this gap between excess waste and unmet need. We divert technology from the landfill and put it into the hands of the people who need it most.
